Hope you're flying when the next issue comes out. This is a really informative read and dispels some doubts I had. Still, airlines get it wrong from time to time, no system is fallible (just ask the recent QF Coast-to-coast flight pax - was it 40)?
 
Interesting article but what concerns me is what happens when the airlines get it wrong. I can get very messy especially with airlines that have infrequent services.

Interesting article but what concerns me is what happens when the airlines get it wrong. I can get very messy especially with airlines that have infrequent services.

Yes it is all about the service failure recovery of the airline, and any other business that has a fail in the eyes of the consumer!
