Overnight LAX Hotel Recommendation?

Hi Folks,

Just after any recommendations for a LAX airport hotel. My sister and I are arriving into LAX around 1.00pm on a Monday, with a flight to MIA the next morning. We're looking for something close to the airport, clean and comfortable, some decent dining options and easy to get to and from (a hotel shuttle service would be nice). We're not really looking to spend time sightseeing, by the time we get through customs and immigration we'll just want to get to the hotel and relax before an early night.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

LAX Hilton is quite decent. Dedicated frequent shuttles and the onsite restaurant is quite good. I’d imagine any of the major chains with hotels in that precinct would all be similar.

The Sonesta tends to be competitively priced and the shuttle is very frequent (more than the Hilton shuttle). The Hilton is my preferred option when the price is good, but I'm Hilton Diamond, so I usually enjoy an upgrade.

Had a pleasant one night stay on 2018 at Four Points by Sheraton LAX. Airport shuttle approx every 20 mins and nice restaurant.

I like the H Hotel. Big rooms, rooftop garden for plane spotting.

The Hilton is also ok but it’s a bit dated.

We used to stay at either Embassy Suites North, Marriott West Century or Hilton West Century.
My family preferred Embassy Suites North.

Most do I think.
With hilton put arrive and depart = same day and should bring them up

Seems high to me, but I haven't overnighted often at LAX.

I just picked a random mid-week night's stay for mid-July, and am getting Hilton LAX properties for USD 165-280ish.
Only the ones in Marina del Rey/Santa Monica are showing more than that at USD300++.

I just skimmed the rates, didn't start digging in.

Hotelsbyday.com is good for day use rooms. At LAX the Courtyard by Marriott, H Hotel, Hilton, Embassy Suites North and the Four Points all have (or at least had) day use rooms.
