Oz to LA under a grand

Ok its in Y and various dates but hey OZ to LAX return under $900 is cheap, has a price war begun?.

I WANT THAT FLIGHT

You can't even pay me $900 to get me to fly on UA in Y TPAC. But yes good pricing, definitely wonder if this is the sort of pricing we'll see going forward after the AA/QF announcement.

I'd happily let someone pay me $900 to fly such a route...I'd even do a trip report if they wanted it!
 
Even more amazing that any airline can flog a return ticket from Perth.

Of course some of us come back. It's just that QF is making it very difficult to leave for overseas much less return. :shock:
