Pffft... they are gonna have to come down in price I think.... why would Aussies fly them when they can get QF/VA cheaper?

I sort of thought that myself actually,can't really see a reason to fly with them apart from possibly their good network in the US which would make for easy onward connections?

True - but I personally would rather fly VA to LAX then connect to Delta... I don't really fancy the US carriers... flew to much AA/UA trans atlantic when I was living in the UK

Might be an idea to keep an eye on them in case they put out some red hot deals if their uptake is not that great with these fares. Am sure they'd like to make a splash.
