I nab the shoe bags provided in some hotels (eg Sofitel)
I bought Zoomlite packing cubes many years ago on recommendation from American friends … different colours for everyone in the family. Ours have been round the world many times and still as good as new. Wouldn’t be without them.I think the last time when we were in Singapore, I looked at MUJI and nearly bought the packing cubes there, they certainly were VERY similar to the K Mart ones I did buy here. But at K Mart they were cheaper than MUJI !! but MUJI didnt have them last month on our trip back home.
The first test will be our road trip to Newcastle and the AFF meetingthen Sydney and the trip home via Blue Mts, Orange and NEH.
@prozac - the Globite ones are definitely a stronger bag, with only a small part open mesh, and the K Mart ones you can see all of whats inside as the top is all mesh.
And sometimes a laundry bag as well, if not plastic.I nab the shoe bags provided in some hotels (eg Sofitel)
Is the cb Rimowa as well?View attachment 299437
I have this Rimowa set which fits in my Original cabin bag. They are brilliant, very durable. Fit a ton.
Yes it isIs the cb Rimowa as well?
I have old Wenga SwissGear luggage which is very robust but I now realise quite heavy.
I have used 2x small and 1x medium Kathmandu cubes in a rigid HLO cabin bag. They pack nicely into the "flat" side with an overall zipper closure then I sort of "roll and arrange" other stuff including footwear around the handle mechanism on the other side. Haven't quite mastered side 2 packing but DID manage along with a backpack to HLO a recent trip to Thailand for a week-long sailing event. Helps that the weather is warm but still need some wet weather protection (jacket with hood, waterproof shorts etc) which add a bit of bulk.I haven't yet used cubes on HLO trips.
