Paid lounge access Sydney

Hi - can anyone tell me if I can pay to access a lounge in Sydney when flying economy on Qatar? Doing the 1025 to Doha on thursday night with the kids and would love somewhere comfy to sit and wait as kids will be exhausted!

Do you have any lounge memberships, Oneworld status or credit cards that come with lounge access (e.g. certain Amex cards)?

If not, you can pay to use the SkyTeam lounge in Sydney but the rates are quite high (I think around $70 per head).

Maybe you both sign up to the Qantas Amex Ultimate card will give you 4 passes in Qantas lounges and new Amex lounges too in Syd/Mel. Oh its $450 but you get that back in QF travel, plus insurance and 100K QFF points each and well more...

Yes the SkyTeam lounge is your only pay-to-enter option (it's operated by Plaza Premium): Plaza Premium Lounge | Independent Lounges, Airport Transit Hotel and Meet and Greet Services | Plaza Premium Lounge
