Qantas
Gold
I just got an email from QF wanting to sell me access to the PER international QP for my upcoming trip PER-SIN. This would be understandable given I have my QFF # on the flight (silver). For the record, the offer was A$69 or 9900 QFF points.

Thanks but I'll just use the CX MPC Gold card this time.

Happy wandering

Fred

Price seems reasonable, and interesting the points to dollar ratio appears to be at a 30% premium over 1c/point.

This also highlights that Qantas has no intelligence system to know what share of wallet they hold.

$69 to enter the PER Intl. Not sure I'd take it. Not much of an offering. I'd be more inclined to pay close to that for entry to the Dom J lounge.

$69 is boardline OK. But 9900 points is outrageous.

I wouldn't pay $69 for Perth Int QP, but then I'm not much of a drinker. Mr Spud & I visited the same lounge last week before our DeathStar flight to Bali. Our flight left at 1:30pm with a "be at the gate at 1:05pm". Despite a sign in the lounge saying All Day Dining, I queried the absence of the listed hot dish, a curry of some sort. I was told that dish doesn't appear until 1:00pm and with that the sign was taken down. The only option was to make your own toasted sanger.
