Qantas Frequent Flyers can now earn and use points on some of Australia’s best dining experiences as part of a new partnership with the Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group.

From today, Qantas Points will be on the menu at more than 40 dining venues across Australia including 6HEAD, Ribs & Burgers, Italian Street Kitchen, Hunter & Barrel and The Meat & Wine Co. restaurants.

Members can earn;

  • 3 points per dollar spent at premium venues including 6HEAD, Hunter & Barrel and Meat & Wine Co.
  • 2 points per dollar spent at Ribs & Burgers and Italian Street Kitchen
Frequent flyers can also use points to pay the bill in full, or for a portion of the bill, using Points Plus Pay at all venues.

Personally I'll probably never dine at one of these establishments, I'd more like to see QF throw some resources towards fixing the call centers.

Like with any new partnership, there will probably be a bonus offer before long to boost points :) I've been meaning to try Italian Street Kitchen near me, so this just adds to that idea

Effective from 1 November 2023, Qantas Frequent Flyers can no longer earn or use Qantas Points with Hunter & Barrel.

Another short-lived dining partnership
It's all the Seagrass Hospitality restaurants, so The Meat & Wine Co, Hunter & Barrel, 6HEAD, Italian Street Kitchen and Ribs & Burgers.

I got excited when our team's Christmas lunch was being planned at Hunter and Barrel - looks like I wont score some extra points :(
