2 mstrandyes raised the same question. I assured them there would be a contingency.I was thinking just that when I saw what I thought was the one hearse sitting under the arch; 'What if it has a flat tyre?'
Well, with a 2nd vehicle in convoy they could of-course do a 'hot-swap' and continue almost as if nothing had happened.
We had a related issue when our vintage car broke down outside Buckingham Palace en route from our wedding to reception. Had to wait a while for a replacement. Meanwhile had lots of pics taken by tourists in our finery . Police were a bit antsy about the car stuck next to the Victoria Memorial
