Payment of fare : Travel Bank PLUS Gift Voucher PLUS balance on card?

I have a $930 travel bank balance (from cancelled flights), and a $50 Virgin voucher (can't even remember what I did to get that, but it was a bonus for spending or something I think?).

I'm trying to book seats to NZ and pay with both the travel bank and the voucher, I will then have $5 balance after those two payments which I have to put on my card. Yet it's not allowing me to do this online, it appears I can only use the voucher or the travel bank, not both, and that whichever of the two I choose to use, I must pay the remaining balance on my card. Does that sound right? Do you reckon if I called the GCC they'd be able to do it for me? (I'm gold if that matters)

Grrrrrrr if this is correct and I can only use one of them, because I can't see the $50 voucher getting used before it expires if that's the case.

Yes that is right.

Travel bank or gift voucher then credit card. Couldn't even use Poli to try and save the booking fee. Any residual paid with credit card still attracts the entire booking fee.

Your Gold status doesn't mean very much but you never know if you can will get a sympathetic consultant that may want to assist.
