Perhaps a swipe of the Pax's velocity card when they are given said items.... I presume this is how bmi do it in the UK. that way DJ can still keep a count on stock and that it has been used appropriately.
And they could track individual guest's preferences and ensure they have sufficient stock of those items on board. Such personalised service can be attractive to some people. Of course some people would see it as a privacy issue .

Assumes that the Passanger has a velocity card. What happens if not?

You could opt in. That would be cool, if as a Gold pax, they had my standard order, and no matter where I was on the plane they would keep enough stocks to ensure I get what I like, even if I am sitting at the back of the plane.... they always seem to run out of those ceaser wraps before they get to me!!! :-|

Yep ... its that type of "service" that would not be too difficult to implement. Naturally nothing could be guaranteed, but would go a long way to making regular guests feel valued.

Finally... Something to differentiate PE to normal economy aside from extra legroom...

Having said that i am willing to do it to ensure Silver this year as i have yet again missed out by the skin of my teeth. Mind you with VAustralia launching now that does make it a bit easier but still.

Here's hoping that i can make it this year and early at that!
