A liberal use of the word “Penthouse” however we do have a comfortable spot for 5 nights. After much reading we booked this through AirB&B near the hospital and were happy with pre-arrangements. In a local multi-storeyed apartment block with lift, the apartment is comfortable & has a great outdoor terrace that provides views of Torre Agbar & La Sagrada Familia (currently surrounded by cranes). The kitchen is well equipped (washing machine included) , a comfortable lounge room, sizeable bedroom with comfortable bed & a good bathroom. The downside is that the host who normally lives here, has left a lot of her gear hanging around (including in the fridge) & is probably not as stringent with cleaning as what we are used to! In summary great bones but needs some TLC. Within 5 minutes walk there are 3 supermarkets, fruit shops, cafes, bars, pharmac_ etc so all very well connected. There are 3 metro stations also within 5 minutes walk, all on different lines.
