Hi, trying to organise something when your internet goes down and the 1 person who you would like to catch up with isn't available makes it hard.

It was suggested start a thread, so here it is.

Wednesday 12 March 2014.

6:00pm - onwards, depending on the bus/train/walking.

Grosvenor Hotel, 339 Hay Street, actually went here about a month ago and it was ok, as the usual Perth location in East Perth is too far for me.

Ok thread started, any other Perth locals welcome, but as I don't know you or met you then I probably don't know you.

Ha,

I had spoken to Cove last week, and this week wasn't going to work, usually with Brisbane meets I would check with either JohnK, Samh004, or Mal, via PM we would work out a date then post a Brisbane drinks night and if no one else turned up then you knew you weren't drinking alone.

Thanks to the others who replied to PMs, and now I remember I had spoken to Casanovawa at a previous Perth gathering.

Sadly I can't make this one, hope you have a good one ;)

You mentioned on the Adelaide Drinks night thread that you were planning to be in the US, and then this morning through Facebook you popped up somewhere else in Australia.

I will try and drop past for what would be my first AFF event.

Is someone able to PM me a mobile number in case I can't work out which group is the AFF group?

Oh that's easy! Just look for the loudest most obnoxious group of drunks in the pub, that'll be your AFFers. Works every time. :p :D

I was planning to be in the US... plans change... I am in Australia, but the wrong part of Australia this week :(

This is largely why I don't publicise my movements as they change very frequently... That's why flexible tickets were invented :p

Apologies I cannot be there. Hope you all have a great time. And yes ADL, MEL and BNE appear to have the best organising.

Sadly I can't make this one, hope you have a good one ;)

That is bad planning.

Apparently the RAAF are doing a flyby in honour of this event. Scheduled at 4pm along the swan river.

Hi Bundy... Sorry but I have a late scrapping. :(

Enjoy your dinner. I owe you a cold one.

Oh no

Thanks for the message.

I am on my way, watching another movements on four square is interesting as well.

Had a look around but couldn't identify a likely group. Everyone looked like they were only on first drinks, no WP tags in sight, most tables had a chair or two as shadows and there wasn't even any Lurpak in view.

Oh well, maybe next time
