Only got back from work yesterday and just saw this thread now, unfortunately I have a strata meeting.

Damn it, the one time there is a drinks fest (I mean social gathering) and I am actually in Perth but I can make it…..

Had a look around but couldn't identify a likely group. Everyone looked like they were only on first drinks, no WP tags in sight, most tables had a chair or two as shadows and there wasn't even any Lurpak in view.

Oh well, maybe next time

At the time of when you arrived you may have seen 2 guys having a beer pushed at them by the barman, it ended up on the floor. :shock:

Next time don't give up so easily, send a PM.

Another Perth drinks is likely to be scheduled in April when QF WP is in town, but again notice will be around the 36-48 hour mark so stay tuned.

So sorry your chauffeur had a 91 year olds birthday to attend Bundy Bear. I hope your pub was air conditioned as it felt like Brisbane in Perth last night.

Gaps in my travel schedule at both those times .

Actually travel is a little quiet this year compared with last year's frenzy. Looking forward to another aerial safari in E Africa in June, in the same aircraft as last year's (http://www.australianfrequentflyer....aerial-safari-kenya-gorilla-trek-53313-3.html), but this time a more extensive multi-country safari. To be followed by the 7 week DONE5 in Sept-Oct.
