I'd have to say yes, as the first thing he did when arriving at the (IHG) hotel was log on to QF to see if his points balance reflected his latest status credit earn.

We'd just arrived on QF4 last night & were in the JL at SYD waiting for our connecting flight to BNE & using the lounge wifi to access QF.com on his newly acquired Kindle Fire he says "Gold" ie his points/SC had already been credited for the HNL/SYD sector.

Tell him to sit next to me. Umm off on Christmas day for 3 weeks.

Ah yes....Christmas. This year I fluked it & am rostered off for Xmas & Boxing Day however SO's employer has decided they'd like him to be on a little island in the middle of the Indian Ocean over Xmas. Ho ho (enter appropriate adjective) ho! Well at least the island has a festive name. :shock:

Well I'm pleased to say it was a really great night, much conversation had, introductions made and many a tip, tricks and story shared. I certainly enjoyed meeting you all and it was great fun.

v8statesman and 11sjw were in a little early than the rest of the bunch, and the last of the group didn't end up leaving until a little after 9pm!

Hope to set the next drinks meet up for sometime in February, and look forward to meeting you all again soon.
