Well I have to say it was a bloody great evening, and thanks again for everyone who came along. Glad you all enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you again in early April.

Also thanks to Robin of The Brown Fox who as mentioned covered a round of drinks for the crowd.

And a question for DrMikki, Cove, Must...Fly! and ors, what time did you end up calling it a night?

Thanks for organising winchester! Thanks to the Brown Fox for the drinks too, must head back there for dinner again sometime.

(Was about 10ish we pulled up stumps, if I recall correctly)

So where is the list of who turned up, and photo, someone must have taken a photo of the food.

Thanks also to thewinchester for organising~! As far as I know, the only one who took a picture was thewinchester; not sure about food - I don't think many people ate? I didn't take a photo of my croquettes anyway - sorry!

If I try to list people I will forget someone, but I will try (apologies in advance to whomever I forget!)

Yes, a photo of most of the group was taken (at a distance so those who didn't like their photo being taken wouldn't mind)

As for any of the food ordered, those who did were too engrossed in good conversation to remember. There is some good shots of dishes served from their bar menu over on their Urbanspoon entry. And I must say, the items I ordered (the ham and cheese croquettes and later their chicken wings were scrumptious).

Nope, that list was everyone I can remember.

I (and others apparently) were surprised when I(we) met emilyhoward.

Good to catch up with people I had met at the LW and Straitman dinner previously.

That <redacted> is a knowledgeable and interesting bloke!

I'm trying to figure out who <redacted> is!

I could tell you, but then I would have to kill you.

I and drmikki were sworn to secrecy on several things by thewinchester last night (on our own lives no less)

We left about 10 pm.
I was hoping the out of towner scored a nice seat on the Brisbane red eye! Thanks for taking a long cut to meet us.
drmikki will hit Wagga Wagga and Melbourne shortly and one of our group is doing the Auckland lunch/dinner/drinks run with bossreggie in April.
Yes,a very normal group of AFFers!

I had a great time meeting everyone. Some revelations last night in putting faces to usernames, including Emily Howard. Thanks to the member who came a long way, and to the many who stayed for quite some time!

See you all next time!

It was good to meet you all the other night. And, thanks to the winchester once again for organising it. Looking forward to the one in April and Christmas in July!

drmikki ... will chat to you at the next meet!
