PJs and using on flights

I'm still fascinated by those who are already hopping up and down the aisle in their Kangaroo suits, as I'm boarding. Good on them. I love it. Boing, boing, boing …..

Anyway, I'm never in that much of a hurry and prefer to wait until after the meal/drinks service.
Those are the people that have changed in the toilets before everyone has peed on the floor.

You are concerned about pee on the floor of the cabin?

No, the shoes stay on in case of the (unlikely) need to evacuate, or needing to get off the plane for various reasons..But even after take-off you can wear shoes into the toilets for getting changed if the condition of the flooring is the concern..

Mmmm
i mean,
I was being facetious but you are right. Although I can’t see why evacuating in your pjs would be any worse than a button-up and flash-dacks.

I think in an evacuation, what you're wearing isn't that important - shoes can help if there are items on the floor you wouldn't want to step on. But the the more likely scenario is some technical issue, every de-boarding the plane back to the terminal.

I'm just not a PJ's in Public kinda guy.

A full-service airline will ensure staff will pee on the floor of toilets, in the premium cabins at least, before boarding.

Mmmmmm premium staff pee. Only the best.
Not a patch though on Air Algeria in the 80's where you had to fight for a seat with the goats that had been brought on board. Goat pee in the toilet was the least of our worries - ah, those were the days. As for pjamas....

I don't understand the deal with PJ's. They do nothing on board other then waste time and space and clog up the rest rooms. On my last flight, I spent 30 minutes needing to actually use the toilet, but couldn't because they were constantly being taken to change.

I don't even own any pjamas.
