PJs on QF J international?

Provided the FAs hand them out before boarding has been completed. Sometimes they don't e.g. if they are in a bit of a fluster because they've been having problems with something before boarding.

If they are not handed out, I guess you could always ask - surely some would be stashed away

When I flew back from JNB last year (747), everyone in the nose just helped themselves to pjs from the cupboard at the front and changed into them before the flght took off.....

I flew to SIN earlier this year (afternoon flight from memory) and I got PJs both ways when I asked for them.

Would you have received them if you didn't ask? Same flight at Christmas time.

Yes, got some on my flight from SYD to YVR a month ago. You should get them. The media release says they will be handing them out until 18/9 (see QANTAS PASSENGERS TO CHEER ON AUSSIE OLYMPIANS IN THEIR SLEEP - Qantas News Room).

The green & gold PJs are issued only in J. But if you are in F, you can ask if there are spares and may be lucky.

Thanks guys. Yes we're in J but do have an upgrade request for F which doesn't look likely at this stage. If we do get lucky though might ask them and see if can't get doubly lucky.

Flew J from Sydney to Haneda on Wednesday night and received the green and gold Olympic PJ's...didn't wear them as the cabin was warm but will make for a great souvenir

They might have on the SYD-SIN leg but I was too excited to wait (first time J flyer with Qantas). They were even gracious enough to give me an extra pair + amenities kit to take home as a gift.

The SIN-SYD leg was an absolute zoo which was surprising considering the flight time and the staff were run off their feet. So it was very much a if you don't ask you don't get type situation.

The Olympic PJ's dont seem to be on every flight. On QF1 i got them. But on QF12 a few weeks later (during the Olympics) we were handed the grey ones.
You would have thought that was the time to be handing them out but we all got the old set. I did see some green and gold ones on the plane but they werent handed out. Perhaps there werent enough for everyone.

Although it does say "including", which suggests that the list is not exhaustive, there is no mention of NYC, which could explain the QF12 absence.

QF12 is JFK - LAX - SYD
The JFK to LAX component is not a PJ segment but the LAX - SYD is and should have had the Olympic PJ's according to your extract.

Ah yes, they enhanced the word 'including'. When I see that word I presume unless listed, it wont be provided.
