A user on the referrals section stated:
"as many have taken advantage of, can be owned in conjunction with the Explorer card to have both accounts linked to the MR Ascent program (upgrading the Explorer from MR Gateway)"
Is this true? How does it work? Does this mean you get 2ppd everywhere* and they convert @ the Ascent rate instead of the Gateway rate?
Has anyone done this? Did you still receive the 110K sign up bonus?
Very interested to hear how anyone has gone with this.

I did this recently (mind you I'd already redeemed my points during the Velocity 15% promo) and they transferred the points i'd since accrued to Ascent for me within about an hour.
