Platinum experience at Hilton Waikoloa?

We may honeymoon at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in March 2014.

What sort of experience/perks can we expect as HHonors Diamond?

Any thoughts about this hotel in general? (I'm familiar with Maui, but not the Big Island.)

As Hilton Waikoloa is targeted at Hilton Vacation Club attendees there is no Executive Lounge with included breakfasts.

You will receive vouchers for water and about a 50% contribution towards a continental breakfast each day.

Also given the limited number of room upgrade options if the Hotel is reasonably full you may not receive a meaningful if any upgrade. Perhaps your Honeymoon status will be the trump card for an upgrade.

Also consider Maui ahead of the Big Island if you are looking for the more classic tropical island honeymoon experience.
