Re: New Member and Platinum question

OK so I am assuming you are close to making platinum currently and the SC run in August will put you over the edge to Platinum. That will mean you have platinum from August 2010 to 31 Aug 2011.

If however you are doing enough flying in Sep/Oct 2010 to get to WP with some SC runs then that would give you WP until 31 August 2012.

It depends how much flying you plan to do and how much of a SC run you are planning.

If you are planning to do a lot of flying in 2010/2011 I would get plat now and see how your next status year runs.

Re: New Member and Platinum question

Thanks for the info, yeah i think i might do my mileage run in September that way i pretty much get 2 yrs as WP, plus as I reset at the end of August it was going to be a push to get the flights done in time.

Side question - say i did a bunch of flights aug 27-31 on AA - if these get credited later in September would these still come across for the days i actually flew in August?

Re: New Member and Platinum question

They would credit to your August 2010 qualifying period.
