Dear AFF gurus,

I have about 200K pts with Citibank and 100K pts with CBA Diamond Awards. I'm thinking about transferring my CBA points to VA before the end of the 15% promo but not too sure about my Citi points.

I know I can redeem SQ rewards seats using VA points but the redemption rate seems to be poor value. Apart from business travel, I mainly travel domestically (between SYD and MEL only) and have on average 2 international trips every year, mainly to South East Asia (inc Japan) but sometimes to the states.

Is it better to transfer my Citi points to VA during the promo or SQ / CX, or just keep them with Citi for the time being?

Status: VA Plat, CX Gold
Current Points: VA about 250K pts, CX almost nothing, SQ none.
Main port: SYD

Thanks in advance!

Probably a bit late now the bonus promotion is over, but VA rewards don't have fuel surcharges.
