Hi All,

I'm flying United from EWR-SFO-SYD all departing on the same day and same ticket. However, I am flying EWR to SFO in economy and SFO to SYD in Polaris business class.

I am wondering if I can access the Polaris lounge at EWR. The access rules are not clear to me about this.

Yes you can, I have done exactly that before. Both great lounges! Be sure to do sit down dining.

First class on a Star Alliance airline does allow one guest into the Polaris lounge, but it is only at the departure airport. You wouldn’t be able to get into the lounge anyway without a connecting flight since you physically won’t be able to get airside
