Hi boomy, I have seen Hertz advertising them with car rentals if thats any good to you
I've used Tep wireless before with some success, although with most Australian carriers having international passes which include data, I usually just use my mobile on roaming with an appropriate pack.
You don't get Tep here, they ship it to your first hotel or you collect it at LHR.
Yes I've seen that as well, it's only for use in Australia tho. I'm looking for a devise can pick up and return in Australia as I'll be landing and departing from different countries.
I'm with Telstra, they offer roaming package of $450 for 30 days include calls, texts and 2.20GB. I need more data so this package isn't suitable.
Tep is indeed the best option I've found so far. They offer 30 days unlimited data for just under $300. Pick up at LHR is convenient as I'm going to land there but then need to send it back via FedEx later which brings the total costs to almost $360.
Was hoping there are better options available. I'm surprised to see there is so little competition in this market.

I sent my Tep back from Europe and it cost me about 10 Euro through the post. It doesn't need to be couriered.
Buy a cheap android phone and turn it into a hotspot
