Possible with mixed class award (PE and J) on Singapore with Velocity?

Hi,

Has anyone successfully booked mixed class on Singapore Airlines using Velocity points?

I'm looking to book PE DXB-SIN + J SIN-MEL as there's no business available for both legs.

If mixed classes are possible, would the points used be equivalent to the whole trip, i.e. DXB-MEL, in J?

Yes, but you have to book separately, and the points (and cash) cost will be a bit higher.

I'm not sure if you can call up and ask them to arrange it as one ticket, but it's worthwhile trying.
