Powershop - $75 sign on bonus for referrals

I switched about a month ago to powershop and am pretty happy with the setup and prices.

They have a Family and friends referral program which expires on 30/06/16. Anyone I refer who signs up gets $75 credit on their account and I also get $75 credit on my account.

Apart from being considerably cheaper than my old provider they pay me an extra 2c per kWh on my solar production and am giving me a free net meter ahead of the change to the solar bonus scheme in NSW in December. There are no lock in contracts with powershop so if it doesn't suit, you can leave at any time.

I've got the 60c NSW FIT until December 31. I'm currently with Dodo, but I want to get in and get my smart meter installed so that they can switch me over to net metering on January 1st. Not sure whether to go with Mojopower or Powershop, they are both offering free smart meter installs.

Have you had your smart meter installed yet? We use controlled load for our hot water and I'm a little worried with how Powershop does their calculations with the blended rates.
