Velocity is unavailable online today. No worries, I call the VA call center instead.

After all of the usual blurb about privacy and after entering my VA number, the recorded voice says: "we are experiencing technical difficulties... if you are a Red Velocity member, press 1, for Silver press 2... etc. and for Platinum press 4"

Any Red VA members want to call up, press 4 and see if you get told off ?

I've been getting that with my member number for months.....

It would be so nice if they update the damm phone system to ask for your member number at the first prompt and then forward gold/platinum straight off to the premium call center.... takes ages to go through all the bloody menus...
 
Mind you they have overrun their maintain period...

Any coincidence that SQ have scheduled mainenance just a few hours later?

good to see the 6pm deadline that was extended to 11pm last night was held,,, heh heh, the trainee strikes again!
 
Both VFF and VA main sites working for me. The single sign-on is still broken though (it did work a while back) - searching for flights after logging into the VFF site requires a second login to the VA site.

I spoke too soon. As usual, a VA booking ex regional NZ has only creditted the VA segments. Attempting to place a "Missing Points Claim" results in:

We are currently undertaking scheduled system maintenance, during this time, some of our usual services will not be available.

The work experience kids clearly earning plently of overtime this weekend.

Not only Velocity.

Lots of companies have implemented the automated phone system wrong. Let me ask for operator after first menu not the sixth or seventh menu.
