We're off to NZ next March and instead of driving over to the west coast decided to use some of our air points and fly over to Hoki from CHC. My partner already had price up on airnz.co.nz - seat plus bag NZD218 return but because we're Oz Airpoints members I'd already logged on to the Oz site to make the booking. The price for the same flight? AUD228!

How does something that should cost less in AUD actually cost more?

I tweeted my disappointment and two days later the NZ price has come up significantly so that it is now more that the Oz price.

No response to my tweet though...

Airlines will often charge different depending on the location of the sale.

Yep, I understand that mannej but NZ have always been very good at maintaining very equivalent pricing. Maybe we were the unlucky ones who found an anomaly, hence why they've updated the NZ pricing on the CHC-HKK since I tweeted.
