More curious than ranting.

Just tried to use the J priority boarding line for LAN800 SYD to AKL booked Y as QF codeshare. QF Gold.

DNata dragon told me that I can’t use priority boarding as LAN exited Oneworld.

Is that true?

I made it onto the aircraft of course!

Ah - interesting!

They let me use the J line for check-in & gave me a priority tag though!

Yes, and you have to be careful now, to always book under the QF flight number, if you want the QF SC.
QF will charge more for this flight, putting their QF flight number onto LA800/LA801, in Y/J than on their own aircraft, but of course, on some days, we have now got the QF's own 787 going SYD - AKL as well.
On the way to the US, if you want the SC, and are flexible with dates, go with QF3/QF4.
But if you are going SYD - AKL, and book under the LA800 flight number, no more QF SC, even though it might be cheaper that way.
As mentioned above, yes, LA(TAM) is no longer in OW, they are now with DL.
