Priority Checked Baggage - What a joke !

Currently on a DONE5 and luggage almost the first out in Johannesburg flying Qantas, then flying BA to Oslo again one of the first bags on the carousel and finally flying SAS Plus to Evenes our bags were the first two on the belt...one wonders how much further our luck will be for our next 10 sectors

In JNB ppl are worried not so much about when the bags appear but when they do arrive if there's anything missing.

Flew SYD-PER yesterday and priority means nothing... Waiting waiting waiting!

I still don't understand how Qantas can promote a benefit and not deliver.

You can have a fantastic experience in the lounge, then in the air... but get frustrated as hell waiting for your bag. You then leave the airport disappointed with your Qantas experience.

I can't imagine it would be that hard to get it right !!!

In JNB ppl are worried not so much about when the bags appear but when they do arrive if there's anything missing.

Here's my JNB anecdote - travelled in QF J to JNB in April and after one bag came off the carousel (a Delsey hardcase spinner) it toppled over when I tried to roll it. Then I noticed a wheel missing.........and then I realised it wasn't missing at all - the wheel (and its attachments) had been punched clean through into the interior.
