While the earn is not great, and its similar to DJs global store in terms of merchants, I note that Dick Smiths is featured at 2 points per $$, I have a couple of Europcar reservations coming up that may allow a double dip?

Useful for occasional incremental points. Thanks Markis10.

Wow, triple dipping on points:

Amex or other credit card.
Woolworths EDR.
PC points.

... :)

There is a 500 point bonus offer on, for once targeted at no US residents:

Members who make a purchase through Priority Club Shopping during the promotion period from 1 October to 31 December 2011 will earn 500 points per transaction, up to a maximum of three (3) qualified transactions. All transactions must be completed by 31 December 2011 to qualify. Cancelled orders will not be included as a qualifying transaction. All transaction bonuses will be posted to members account within 90 days of the end of the promotion. Valid for purchases being shipped to countries outside the US only. Registration is not required in the promotion. Partner offers from participating merchants are not covered by these terms and conditions and are subject to the terms and conditions of each individual merchant offer. Priority Club Rewards has the right, in its absolute discretion, to remove and/or discontinue the offer at any time without notice to its members. Should this occur, all members who have made a valid transaction within the valid period of the promotional offer running online, will be allocated the bonus points that they are entitled to. Other restrictions may apply. Offers are subject to change without notice. Subject to standard Priority Club Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions. For complete details, visit www.priorityclub.com.

oh, and 3 points per $ at the itunes store?

3 separate $0.99 app purchases = 1500 PC points ;)

I got the email earlier. Not a big online shopper so can only see limited opportunities.

Have you got a different list? I can only see Budget, Dollar, Enterprise and Thrifty.

Is your account set up for Australia (Dollar?, Enterprise?)

I see Thrifty, Budget and Europcar.

Now that is a very good point. I have no idea.

May need to investigate further as I need to make sure any Europcar rentals only go to a certain loyalty program with much better value.

Question:

My PC a/c is set up to receive QFF points rather than Priority Club points, so do I get QFF points or PC points using their shopping mall?

Thanks!

With PC, if you are getting bonus points where there is no miles option, then you get those points, which of course can be converted to miles, sometimes the miles promos work out to be better has points then converted!

Has anyone worked out how to make an iTunes purchase that will qualify for this offer?

There's a link on the PCshopping site that takes you to the AU iTunes page, but you can't actually buy anything from there, only from within iTunes itself. I've got some stuff I want to buy, but I'd like to take advantage of the 500 bonus points on offer ...

Did you get this to work?

Did you get this to work?

Well ....

I got a response that said "Log into PC Shopping, click on the link for itunes store, then you can buy stuff from there".

Except it missed the point that I was making which is that you can't buy stuff directly from the web based store, you have to launch iTunes first.

So I did a couple of purchases by following their process and then launching iTunes. And then I'll send another email asking for my points to be credited, because I can't see how they would be able to track the purchases.

That sounds like the most stupid answer ever. I hope it works, but I can only think they have no idea how iTunes works.

I am really liking the Velocity/Priority Club/Europcar tie up, for a $48 rental I have got 300 velocity points and 600 PC points pending in PC shopping!

How did you go getting your points? When I click on the link it takes me to the download page for itunes, which of course I already have. As medhead said they seem to have no idea how itunes or Apple works.

I didn't.

I got a stupid form response telling me I had to follow the links to purchase to be eligible to get the points ... even though I clearly stated in my email that I'd tried that, but it obviously wouldn't work due to the need to purchase within iTunes.

Has anyone had any points actually credit to their account yet? I bought a Think laptop a couple of months ago and the points are still showing as 'pending' in my account.

My points are pending as well. At least they have been tracked and not lost somewhere.
