Can I offer "good staff but poorly trained". Good staff enforces the rules / SOP, as per their training and supervision. In this case, perhaps the OWR benefits were left to a lesser role in the training and it had focused more on the OWS/OWE/J customers (as it ought to). It then led to those staff to act on what they believed were the rules. The best staff, naturally, are open to corrections on spot if the customer can point out the missing piece in the puzzle.It's a little confusing for QF Silver but you're supposed to get priority Check in but not priority boarding or priority security lines. Seems like a case of bad staff who wasn't fully trained.
