Flying out of Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney in the last 3 months, I've noticed that I had no option for Priority Security Screening, am I blind or is this something that hasn't returned from the devastation of Covid on Airports?

In ADL outside of the morning and arvo rush it's not that big of an issue but after leaving SYD in the Tuesday morning Easter rush and finding I only just gave myself enough time to get to my flight it's one benefit I wouldn't mind having again.

Flew MEL yesterday - def still there (QF)

Are we talking QF or VA in the airports with multiple entrances?

I know VA’s disappeared for a while.

I fly with VA, i know that premium entry is down at T2 in Syd still but in ADL they share the same screening point

ADL Priority lane no longer exists.
It was never a true priority lane, you just got the the front a little quicker and then shared the x-ray machines with all the others (unlike SYD, MEL or BNE). When I was travelling regularly I have the pleasure ;) of going through at least once and sometimes twice per week. I dislike ADL security and find them to be one of the most annoying, difficult and unpredictable security access points in AU. Week to week it would change with the umbrellas, ipads or what else they thought needed to come out of the bag. I live in the state and have posted many times about ADL security, so why does it not surprise me they have removed the security lane that services QF and VA. Time to get back off my soapbox.

Cheers Matt. Thought security levels kept changing, thanks for the confirmation. Been a while, remember some sort of priority lane pre-COVID. Wasn’t there last week.
