Privileges with partner airlines

Excuse the question, relatively new to Virgin and planning our first flights with partner airlines (Singapore).

Am I right that I get velocity points, status etc and as platinum we get lounge access but not priority check in and priority baggage? No biggie, just like to know.

I was very impressed when I flew paid EY J as a VA Plat, with access to the EY First lounge at AUH.

And the points and SC's were handy too.
