just as a point of interest, was yours an award booking and if so were you getting rid of the copayment by using points?I ended up with four bookings yesterday. Each time got through to payment page and it just spins. The PNRs were created but never went through to payment.
Qantas messaged me overnight and said they were happy to make the booking for me, but they couldn’t use all points I would have to pay the charges and could they have a phone no and convenient time so they could get the payment. Messaged back the mobile no and carried phone and credit card with me all day - even out to the washing line. Anyway they never phoned so this evening I thought I would try again and then phone myself and just be prepared to wait for hours in a queue.
It also occurred to me that maybe if I just left the booking with points and copayment instead of all points it might take a different path through the code and so I tried that and hurray it got to the payment page and I could complete the booking,
Then just out of curiosity I did another booking for exactly the same dates and flights, but changed to all points and yep it hung again.....
So now maybe I have a work around for the future and maybe not - this is the fun of dealing with their website.
