Proof that QF's 767's could look awesome (if they invested some $).

I did a PER-SYD QF trip about a year ago on a 767 and I found it absolutely fine. By the time we took off, had the drinks and lunch service, that was about an hour gone, and then I watched the main screen movie, read a magazine, listened to some of the radio channels, watched the main screen TV news, then it was time to descend.

The time went really quickly for me (it was a day flight which is always easier for me though).

And I also prefer to avoid single aisle planes where possible... going to ADL this weekend and it is 737-800s both directions... hoping for an aircraft change to a 767 at the last minute! (Unlikely I know)

I would like to point out that Air Canada, with the exception of 3 B-767 that fly seasonal routes (that are clearly labelled as such when booking), has in-seat IFE on every single mainline aircraft they operate, and it has been this way since the mid 2000s. There is no guessing as to what the plane you'll get on will look like. The interiors are all modern, clean and have exactly the same product, be it e75, e90, a319, a320, a330, b767 or b777.

While their employees may be just as disgruntled as Qantas', at least they have a hard product they can be proud of.
