PS Complimentary lounge pass - Credited when?

Any idea what the situation is with complimentary lounge passes? I qualified to maintain silver a few months ago (my review date is November 2012), but wasn't sure whether reaching the point of maintaining silver is when the 2 single entry lounge passes are issued, or whether they are issued at the review date. Is anyone able to clarify? Would be good to be able to use them on my MEL-PER return next week before I go overseas for a year.

Aren't they issued electronically, check your account.

They don't seem to be there which perhaps means that they are only issued annually, at the review date. Can anyone confirm this?

When i qualified for Silver ( now Gold) , as soon as my status updated in Velocity to Silver , i received the 2 passes on my account.

We were wondering the same thing. We both qualified for Silver in November last year, and lounge passes (which were then only valid for 3 months) were issued at that time, but ended up going to waste as we weren't able to use them. We've now both reached the required status credits and eligible sectors to maintain Silver, but no sign of lounge passes on our Velocity accounts, so it would appear that if you are just maintaining the same status, the lounge passes are issued at the review date (which would also be November for us). Would be interesting to see if anyone can give confirmation on this.

I think I read someone else somewhere state the passes are issued after the review date. I'm also in the same bucket, re-qualified back in May and my review is end-September.
Hoping to make gold only a couple of months later so it may be moot
