I recently had a stay at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins and was quite impressed with Club Millesme and the service from the hotel staff
in general.

However the hotel itself doesn't have pool and not only is a club room significantly cheaper at the Pullman (which Does have a pool) my upgrade as a Gold member would be to a Suite instead of a Junior Suite.

How does the lounge at Pullman compare to Sofitel on Collins?

Nice view of the MCG from the Pullman Lounge.
Haven't been there for a while to comment on a comparison.

The Pullman is our regular choice of stay when we head to Melbourne for the footy. Don’t think the lounge is as good as the Sofitel. Good views of the MCG but not huge in size and a pretty basic selection of beverages and food. In the evening they do bring around some nice finger food like spring rolls. Nice enough place to relax for a hour or so and one morning we had breakfast up there
