Hi all,
Just hoping someone can give me a bit of advice - I am scheduled to fly back to Brisbane from the UK at the end of this month (31st) with Thai Airways (economy - code share with Swiss Air) and have a 9 hour stopover in BKK. Is anyone aware of a way that I can pay for one-off access to any of the available lounges during my stopover - a shower and decent internet access would be fantastic.

Any advice / suggestions much appreciated
Thanks for reading :)
Dan

PS. Great forum by the way - glad I found you

There are pay lounges available and IIRC some even advertise sleeping-esque facilities. However, for a 9 hour layover you may want to consider using a nearby hotel, depending on timing of layover. Look at wotif.com and search for hotels at Bangkok Suvanabuhmi.

I 2nd the hotel option. Paid lounge access will cost you $40 for 2 hrs, you can rent a room for that with net access included. You also don't have to go far and taxis are cheap. I wouldn't be sitting in the airport for 9hrs with BKK at your feet. There's a Best Western next to the airport, net access included $50 a day.
