Are they open yet?
I'm flying DWN-SYD-BNE-DWN in J and wonder if I'll be able to see the new lounges?
They may not have enough money to keep flying planes, but it's good to know there's plenty in the kitty for new lounges.

Do I understand that the lounge re-developments are such that they are requisitioning existing QP floor space?!
Correct..... unfortunately.Do I understand that the lounge re-developments are such that they are requisitioning existing QP floor space?!
That is how it seems. The Melbourne QP is positively pokey now. I'm secretly hoping that once all this is done they will significantly increase the price of QP membership to cut the numbers down.

The QF site states;
Business Lounges will feature shower amenities, private work suites, social facilities, a signature food offering and a barista service, and business facilities including complimentary wireless internet. The lounges open in Sydney T3, Melbourne and Brisbane domestic terminals mid-2008.
A QP member might hope that SG is made harder to attain in order to keep the numbers down.
