Q closer ties to AA announced

There are just 2 problems with AA flying to Australia.
First is they are on record as saying they wont use the 777 300ER to do it-
American Airlines argues why it should not serve Australia - Wings Down Under

Second is their agreement with their pilots where they are limited to duty of ~ 14 hours.They would have to negotiate with the pilots union for an exemption to fly to Australia and the Union is in a prolonged dispute with AA and have said there will be no more exemptions.
