Q Streaming or Q supplied iPad

Ended up listening to the main screen movie (screen was too far away to really see).
Definitely felt like i had gone back 20 odd years with entertainment options.

I don't really want to buy a tablet for the sole purpose of watching stuff on planes.

20 yrs ago you would of had nothing or a blurry projector. Now you have options.
And even your phone screen is better quality and in some cases bigger than what QF still flies in the four un-refurbed 747s and 332s.

So buy a tablet for other purposes then...

If you want a cheap ok model for streaming only the Lenovo Tab range at under $100 for a 7" or under $200 for a 10" are hard to beat - at Officeworks and other stores

I do feel that Qantas should at least offer an iPad/tablet to J customers on 737 flights without seatback entertainment. Is it really that hard to carry a few iPads on board for J customers without a smartphone/tablet?

I was even offered a tablet last time I flew VA J. If Virgin can do it....

IIRC going onto a site on browser worked for me in Aug last year. Forgot about the site but was using Chrome on Mac with the latest version possible at that time.
