It’s awesome but unfortunately it doesn’t have an F Cabin for those who booked F either cash or points. Is it a bad thing going to the Dreamliner ? I found it a beautiful plane to travel in.
ahhhh ok. Thanks for the clarification. It’s awesome but unfortunately it doesn’t have an F Cabin for those who booked F either cash or points.

Economy? In the premium cabins it's good. But no F cabin as @Princess Fiona said and the 787 economy seats are uncomfortably narrow compared to the A380.
Ditto. Grabbed a first class reward SYD to LAX for July ‘22 and now have a Dreamliner and business…..I had 2 return F Awards SYD-LAX-SYD for July 2022 on the A380, booked last week on release. Both now changed to B787….

I flew the domestic leg MEL-PER on a QF787 Y seat. 3 men in the same row all touching shoulders the whole flight. Glad I didn’t do the Int’l leg.Economy?

Y on the QF787 is vile. Done it twice: PER-LHR and BRN-LAX. Never again. The pointy end only from now on!
OT, when you posted the original photo I had a moment of 'I know that church but where have I seen it' 2 days later I drove past it stopped took a photo as there was no yoga sign and then forgot to post. I do not not live in that area however it is on route from my daughters school to Norwood.Technically it might be Toorak gardens. Oops
By 8mm.
Besides the placebo effect I sincerely doubt anybody can actually notice that.
You do get an inch extra legroom compared to the A380 - and what I think is better - a much smaller cabin. Similar size to a 737 (166Y - and only 120 in the main Y cabin with the rest in a mini cabin forward of the toilets) vs the cattleyard that is A380 Y.
Have you flown on both? I can't speak for other people, but the difference is enough to be noticeable to me. I find the 787 in Y to be uncomfortable, and the A380 in Y to be not uncomfortable. That's not just my perception, but my lived experience after many long-haul flights on both aircraft types.
FWIW, the 787 also has narrower aisles making it an all-round more cramped experience.
This is a complete non-sequitur.I'm saying there's many factors - who sits next to you, the general feeling of spaciousness or lack thereof, the route flown, your mood on the day - than merely the width of the seat.
As is this.I think Y sucks regardless, and either perhaps some people have a placebo effect for one aircraft type over another, or it's other indirect features that are influencing their preference.

LOL.
Do I really need to explain it to you?
