Unlikely - there is no spots available for them to start fitting the new seats.scheduled to fly SYD-HKG later this month and back in early March. The seat maps still shows the old 2-2-2 J configuration. whats the chances that it’ll be substituted with an aircraft with the retrofitted configuration?
An internal message to staff?Damn. There goes my A380.
Nick is the head of Int’l cabin crew. Seems an odd person to be making this announcement.

OQL is likely going in for it's refurb during the off peak season then.Eight A380s now.. but only seven by October?
Does that mean 3 will be in refurb simultaneously? When will the next one be back in service?OQL is likely going in for it's refurb during the off peak season then.

Gawd I had that "team" rubbish. Cabin crew is all you need. Invariably, when any form of management starts talking about a team, it's a precursor to some form of shafting. It's just another bit of meaningless MBA speak.Thanks. Ah ... to the cabin crew team I guess.

Oct isn't quite peak.. but what are they doing with OQA and OQC at the moment.
OQA can't get staff or room to fit in the works. Every other airline is more important than the miniscule QF requirement. Money talks.Oct isn't quite peak.. but what are they doing with OQA and OQC at the moment.

Mostly sounds like their complete and utter failure to manage their fleet over many years is biting them in the bum.OQA can't get staff or room to fit in the works. Every other airline is more important than the miniscule QF requirement. Money talks.
