I can only dream of MEL-LHR coming back on the A380. Even MEL-SIN would be something.

Longer term one will get an A350 Sunrise flight from SYD, MEL, PER to LHR, and then I suspect one A380 SYD-SIN-LHR to use the four slots that QF reportedly has.

Query if QF might start taking back the slots in advance of the A350 deliveries.

I reckon the single flight number will be BNE-SIN-LHR but timed with SYD-SIN, even if the aircraft does fly from SYD and swaps flight numbers in SIN.

Quite possibly. They did that for a while on the LAX- JFK service.
But in any event it's probably close to the end of the decade before QF has a full complement of Sunrise 350s

VH-OQJ, in Dresden since Feb 10, has snuck out overnight, made it's way to LHR and is now operating QF2 to SIN.

Do any of the 388s currently in service, or being restored soon, still have the old Skybed fitout? Is there any danger of booking a QF 388 service and not getting Business Suites?
