Re: Qantas Qustomer Advisory Panel

I was also asked to join. Seems they are using the splatter gun technique to get more feedback. Now if they flew us somewhere to talk about our experiences, it would make it worthwhile.

I found out from someone I know in the industry that QF have previously invited a select few to meet and chat about QF. Have no idea when this occured?

I am not sure that they are using a gun splatter approach as mentioned as I too have always ticked the box on the First class lounge survey that I wish to participate. I make it a habit to always fill out a survey form when visiting th elounge, in the last 12 monthis this means a total of about 20 surveys as I find it important that they get my feedback. I make note to always provide customer feedback on the web portal for both excellent and not so good service, what they choose to do with this is their own choice.
I am personally looking forward to contributing to this panel and aiming to keep QF at the pointy end of the aviation industry.

I agree, scatter gun approach would go against the BOLD underlined sentence in the email I posted in a previous post where it clearly says that I chose to join.

So from that I guess there are limited numbers and those who get "called up" choose to join or not - if not it probably opens the door for another to be summoned...

Interestingly this form was filled out in an F lounge, so if the criteria set by the QF marketing people is only for F pax or pax who have entry to the F lounge, they have chosen quite a small demographic for their survey.

Yep - me too

I got an invite this afternoon, but I haven't done the survey yet. I'm surprised because I've been flying QF so little in the past few years. I definitely haven't been FLounging or flying F.
