Qantas Advisory Panel Survey - Int'l Amenity Kits

La Paririe is considered one of the best skin care ranges in the world.

In 2006, SKII were found to have toxic chemicals in their range in China, see SK-II - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, although Cate Blanchett has no problem promoting them.

I, for one, would quite like a Burberry or Zegna amenity kit that could practically used to fill with my own products on future trips.

Having flown EY F recently, I am very envious of the female amenity kits and PJs. While they are obviously tailored to women they have beautiful touches by Swarovski, see below, and the female PJs have Swarovski crystals on the zipper, and on the chest, as the 'Diamond First' elements, while the male amenity kit is just a leather box they class as a cufflink box. Rather underwhelming.

Funny today has been back to the continuig cleanup. It was time to go through all the things we have brought back from our travels.
As long as they dont go back to the Mark Newson zip cases-horrible zipper.Become useless very quickly.

When my kids were at school they used those grey cases for pencils etc, so at they had some use. Too big for travel.

I think this is why they don't engage in social media - they are damned for not asking questions and damned if they do ask questions.
I'm confused by this comment - there is quite a bit of recent history of QF engaging in social media, mostly badly - or do you mean the advisory panel specifically?

I'd guess that simongr is speaking to their engagement (or lack there of) in flyer communities similar to AFF, and not QF's social media stance in general.

Having said that, engagement in social media beyond Customer Service & Marketing is going to take some time. Not withstanding that their activity in social media is south of 2yrs old, they have also had organisational changes which have prevented them from rolling out any possible strategy further.

In the fullness of time, as their strategy and implementation matures, there will no doubt be wider engagement from other units within the company on this and other social media channels. And as we know, that while Red Roo may not participate in every topic, no doubt the topics relevant to QF being discussed and monitored, with relevant feedback and salient points being passed along through the company as relevant.

La Prairie would be great and even if it's only because that stuff is so ridiculously expensive!

What I don't understand... They consider brands like La Prairie but then put a bloody Rexona body spray in there? That stuff is just EVIL in my eyes- makes me stink like my old dad, absolutely shocking :shock::shock:

Rexona is the only sub 100ML/g anti perspirant/deodorant I have found - all the other mens anti perspirant are actually only body sprays.

I'd like a return to gifts for flying a premium class.

I particularly remember:
Tag watch in MAS F (one of the plastic bevel ones, but very nice)
Chinese tea set MAS F
Keyring Pocket knife EY J - yes really, they used to hand out knives in flight with a 1 inch razor sharp blade

Equally memorable for the wrong reasons was a leather bound desk diary from Pakistan Airlines F - it was for the previous year!

I think some will argue that the amenity kit is the gift, though the way most of them are going, that's dubious.

I think OZ F still gives gifts, though from the recent reports I've heard the gift is a fairly innocuous looking scented candle.
