Cool thanks for that. Not ideal, but if I can't find a Qantas spend soon I'll do that.

Qantas flight vouchers seem to be considered a Qantas spend, as I received double points on a $50 voucher spend. Also there is a 10 points per dollar promotion on vouchers until boxing day, making 12 points per dollar, plus your 2500 point bonus if looking for a first Qantas spend on the amex discovery (although the vouchers have some limitations, as can only be used for the base part of the fare, not taxes).

Received this offer today.

300 spend for 5000 points.

1st Qantas spend 2500 points.

Interest Free for the 6 months.

Double points on Qantas spends in Australia.

Zero annual fee and supp card for free.

6 months interest free on purchases.

Apply by 30 June 2012

Following up from blu, can anyone confirm that a $20 purchase of 500 points will work as a trigger for the 2500 points for Qantas spend?

do you not plan to fly qantas anytime in the near future? I don't think there'a time limit to when the qantas flight has to be taken to get the points.

put the $20 towards the annual fee of a credit card that gives you more bonus points.

Amusing.
I got a letter telling me I wasn't credited 5,000 bonus points after $300 spend due to an admin error.
Today I check my QFF balance and received the 5k bonus points with the normal statement points as well as an extra 5k points.
Thanks :)

Hi, terms and conditions doesn't mention buying points as a "selected qantas product".
