Qantas App issues?

Is anyone having app issues.

I am now showing as "someon else" with 607K ++ points and a fabulous amount of status credits.

Whilst I would love the points, status and upcoming credits..... I am definetely not "that other person"

Yes I’m getting different random people and their boarding passes for flights as well. Very scary stuff as that’s clearly some form of data breach.

This has happened before and I think someone on AFF alerted QF to it.

Same, I’ve been Sally now I’m Caroline and I’m now going to Singapore.

Yes I am now someone else and have their boarding passes

More concerned who might have my boarding passes but they will be disappointed in the flights

So I tried logging out and logging back in and I still got the same random person not me.

I even tried deleting the app and reinstalling and it still came back with the random person. They have a flight to Tokyo today and as a result I can see/download their boarding pass. Additionally by going onto manage booking and APIS I can see their name, email, phone number, date of birth and passport details. If that isn’t some form of data breach then I don’t know what is.

Yes I just logged into my Qantas app and I am now someone called Paul and I have access to his boarding passes for his flight to London today! Very concerning….

Qantas app security breach: Urgent investigation underway

Qantas is investigating reports of a security breach this morning.

QF appears to be aware and is looking into it.

Seems updates have been turned off on tge app for now to stop this.

This may imoact on pax travelling today if they can't check in ir access BP's (I fly tomorrow so have no idea if its affecting pax right now but suspect it could - possibly much betfer than getting someone else's BP!)

MrP is flying today. Should be on a flight now for business meeting after lunch. Haven't heard from him so must be ok. He returns tonight. He doesn't update app very often.
