We have booked flights from BNE to JFK via Auckland in April 2025, then doing a Transatlantic cruise to the UK, and flying home Manchester, UK to BNE via Dubai. Flight over is on Qantas and we have selected seats, but we are unable to select any seats for the return flight with Emirates. Any tips or assistance on how we could select seats or upgrade to exit row etc? Thanks

Use your Qantas booking reference on the Emirates app or website, it should then let you access the Emirates reservation to book your seats.

I have these issues all the time
Try both the app and the website for both airlines.
One of them suddenly works, most of the time.
Sometimes it simply doesn’t work at all.

Tried that, it didnt work for me unfortunately.
Another method can be is to open your booking on a desktop using Qantas Manage Booking and look closely at what is shown. Sometimes if there is a different booking reference for another airline (such as EK), that will be shown.
